#1 Blackhead Pied het ghost x Grey Ghost

From breeding Blackhead Pied het Ghost (Mr Casanova) x Grey Ghost (Lady Dorian)

The appearance from this clutch has really thrown me… Initially I thought the darker animals could only be Red and Ringer gene het pieds…

This is Mr Casanova’s first season and the first Blackhead Pied that has ever been produced… The Blackheads from this clutch really don’t look like your standard Blackheads with the strong backsripes, the dark heads and the reduced eye stripes…

I believe from other Blackhead het combos I have seen, the het Pied has really influenced the look of these and as these guys are growing it is becoming more apparant that these are Blackhead’s too… Mr Casanova has bred to some other females this season too so I am hoping later on this season that I will be able to understand exactly what is going on with Mr Casanova…

Oh and I proved Mr Casanova out to be 100% het Ghost too… I love these type of surprises…
